I am an artist with a passion for street photography, portraiture photography, and the art of collage. Originally hailing from Leeds, I have found my creative home in Guernsey, where I have been residing for over a decade. With a deep appreciation for the unique beauty of both urban and natural landscapes, I strive to capture the essence of my surroundings through my lens. Guided by my love for exploring the interplay of light and shadow, I venture into the depths of the darkroom, meticulously crafting analog creations that evoke emotion and tell stories.
I have continued to document the world around me as I embark on new journeys, capturing moments and encounters that fuel my creative spirit. Through my art, I seek to gain a deeper understanding of the places I visit and the people I meet along the way. As an arts educator, I have the privilege of holding multiple important roles within the education landscape. Firstly, I am deeply involved in fostering School Partnerships, collaborating closely with educational institutions to enhance arts programs and create meaningful connections between schools. Additionally, I proudly serve as the Curriculum Alignment Lead for Art and Design in both the Secondary School Partnership and Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre, where I am beginning the journey of guiding the development and implementation of a comprehensive and engaging arts curriculum. Moreover, as the Head of the Creative Arts Faculty, I have the opportunity to lead and inspire a talented team of educators, ensuring the provision of exceptional arts education to students. Through these multifaceted roles, I am committed to nurturing creativity, fostering artistic growth, and empowering the next generation of artists and innovators.
